Regan Schwartz, a DVM/MPH student from St. George University (AFU), Grenada West Indies had  visited AFU on June 8, 2015 and initiated the relationship between AFU and SGU. These two universities have already developed MOU in 2014 for working together on collaborative research and capacity development. Regan has also worked in Bhaktapur for the treatment of affected animals by the devastating earthquake of April 25 and May 12, 2015.
