Prof. Bhuminand Devkota participated in the 30th World Buiatrics Congress (WBC) Sapporo in Japan

Dr. Bhuminand Devkota, Professor of Veterinary Science (Theriogenology), Faculty of Animal Science, Veterinary Science and Fisheries, and Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies Center, Agriculture and Forestry University, Chitwan participated in the 30th World Buiatrics Congress (WBC) Sapporo that was held in Sapporo Convention Center, Sapporo, Japan from August 28 to September 1, 2018. He presented a paper on “Factors affecting the efficacy of timed artificial insemination (TAI) protocols in Nepalese buffaloes” as well as chaired 3 sessions (one key note session and 2 oral presentation sessions). This was the first time Prof Devkota made an official presence from Nepal in this mega international forum. This time, the WBC 2018 was attended by more than 1700 scientists working on ruminant health and production from 66 countries. Prof Devkota is the current President of the Asian Buffalo Association.
